Flo was born on February 6, 1936, in State College, Ark., to Ashley Robey, PhD, and Bess Robey. After living an exciting and full life, she moved on to life eternal on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at the home of Carolyn Robinson in Lyndhurst. She fought her Alzheimer's disease bravely for 15 years....

Gil, I've been meaning to write and let you know how sorry I was to hear of Flo's death last year. I haven't written earlier because it's just too difficult for me to write about that type of loss. Flo was such a wonderful, beautiful person and I always enjoyed being around her and her fun-loving spirit. Hope all is well with you and your girls. I always enjoyed watching the girls play golf when they were younger.

Flo, was a wonderful neighbor when we moved to Waynesboro. We moved there not to long after them and we became fast friends. She and Gil were a great couple and we enjoyed all our times together, the Hilton Head Trips with the children and the China, & Africa trips with just the 4 of us. We have so many memories of Flo's Wit & Charm. What a great person to do volunteer work with (MS Society). All the children's weddings, My family loved all the times with the Ayers.

Flo was one of the first people to welcome us to Waynesboro when we moved there in 1983. She was always such an avid supporter of Pete's campaigns and added so much to our Dinner Group. Our hearts go out to you and your precious family.
