I have just returned home to Madison from the funeral of my mother in law, Florence Beecher. Over the last days I have been thinking of this wonman and what she ment to me, my family and my life.

I met her 43 years ago and she became a full part of my life at that time. Full of life and always good thoughts about everything. Not a pollyanna, but a real person with real thoughts about life.

She helped to raise her three children to become the best...

My grandmother's spirit will live on in the many people who's lives she touched. Hers was a shining example of a life well lived. I am blessed to have been a part of her life.

I was very sorry to hear about Mrs. Beecher. She was such a beautiful person. I lived next door to her only 5 years, but in that time, I came to love her. She was wonderful. You have my most sincere condolences.
