Florence Berland

Flossie was a cherished friend of my mother´s since childhood. She and the other "girls" continued a beautiful relationship that included the regularly scheduled girls get togethers, filled with laughter and lots of talking. They also enjoyed a couples club with thematic dinners at each other´s homes. I grew up knowing both Mel and Flossie, the kindest and most genuine people. May their memory always be a blessing to their family.

My aunt Floss (Florence) is to me, someone I could look up to as a role model throughout my life. She was my mother's (Estelle/Doodie) sister, and throughout the years there were plenty of family gatherings and holidays and special events to enjoy, many hosted by the family orientated Aunt Floss.
