I was saddened to read of Florence's passing. In my mind her name elevates the word volunteer beyond an act of duty. She represented an idea that many of of us follow. Be at peace knowing she gave and others noticed.

I find myself quite distressed to learn of Florence's death. She was an interesting woman, a woman of many talents, and I will miss her. I still hope one day to be able to publish the mystery she wrote and allowed me to read and critique.
