Florence BREEN Jr.

I just found out about Florence's passing...I worked with him at AISC in 1984. He was one of the most colorful personalities and brilliant minds I ever worked with. I loved working with Florence and his family has my deepest sympathies and prayers in their loss. May Florence rest in peace, God Bless his family.

May God be your refuge and strength, a helper that will provide your family with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead Psalm 62;8.

Florence was a wonderful friend and mentor to me, beginning in the 1960's in the Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Bridge Design. He taught me how to design a bridge. He was an excellent teacher and friend. I always greatly admired Florence Lightfoot Breen, Jr.

Katherine, I consider myself fortunate to have known Florence while working at MARTA. He guided his team to built MARTA's structural inspection program to the highest possible standards. Your Dad was one of the kindest and smartest person I've known, and will be greatly missed.
