Not sure what to say?

I have just learned of your loss and wanted to let you know I was thinking of you all. Your Mom was like a second Mom to me for all those summers we spent together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am Mike Mecum, son of Shade Mecum (Shade is Florence's son in law). I am one of the many fortunate to have known her. She was a special kind of person that lit up the room and left everyone influenced with her special perspective on life. I recall times like a family get-together for Thanksgiving, when she would join us for breakfast in the kitchen perfectly groomed and immaculately dressed. The rest of us slumped in slippers and yesterday's shirt. Her accomplishments as a professional and...

Mrs. Chapman was a wonderful teacher and a representative of women of science during an era when there were not many women to carry the torch. She taught with compassion, mastery, and a great sense of humor.

I wish you and your family peace during this time. Please know that she touched and inspired many of her CCDS students, and that her lessons continue to flourish: I think of her all the time when I cook--there are so many chemistry principles involved, and she taught them so...

What a wonderful and inspirational lady! She and my mother, Marie Couric, and Mrs. Hunter were known as the "three musketeers". They shared so many fun times together at the Cypress. I know how much she will be missed by family and many, many friends.

Celia,
Dad e-mailed me the news about your mother. I am so sorry to know that your wonderful mother is no longer with us. Being able to re-connect with her (and you) at the Cypress has been a blessing. I am thinking about you all, and will be in touch. Special hugs for Elaine, also.
Betsy

Celia & Elaine, much love to you during this time. Margaret McAlister

Mrs. Chapman will be missed by many of us CCDS students whose lives she touched during her career. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and with you, her family and friends, as you celebrate her life.

Best regards from East Cambridgeshire, UK.

We loved your mom and are so sorry for your loss. Know she, Buddy, Willie, and Doc are dancing it up in heaven with strong bodies and minds! Jan and Frank Jordan

Wii,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
