Not sure what to say?

Miss you Florence -- your laugh, conversation, having a glass of wine at the rose in front of the fireplace winter afternoons. Miss your cards and phone calls -- your encouragement and support. Love you. Frank

I miss you Florence! I have your letters, cards and poems. Frank

I can't believe a year has passed already. Sending love to Florence and her family on earth. Spring pays a beautiful tribute to Florence as the buds unfurl here in Boulder.

Florence was a great friend who I miss deeply. We met at Cornell Botanical Gardens where we both worked in the mid-90's. I walked into the small igt shop and there was immediate chemistry that lead to a strong connection. I loved her laugh -- and her enthusiasm for life. We remained close friends until she passed away. I miss her! Over the years she shared many of her short stories and poems -- often sending one, or several in birthday cards. I have several of her published poem collections....

I first met Florence when I first moved to Ithaca in the late Spring of 1979. I had met her daughter, Carolyn, in Rome the previous year, and when it came time to move back to the U.S. Ithaca seemed as good a place as any. Florence was an amazing woman whose spirit captured you and left you almost dazzled. She had such warmth and I cherish the times I was able to visit and talk to her. Our last visit, in June of 2019, was a gentler time -- when people could gather and hug and hold one...

To Carolyn, Beth, Crandall, and families,

I can't remember a time when I didn't know your mother. She was such a gracious and talented person. I'm thinking of all of you and sending love.

A lovely lady. Fly high!

Dear, dear Fluffy,

I am so sorry to hear that you have left us. I greatly enjoyed having you and Gardner join in my music programs at Kendal. Even more I cherished our little visits on the park bench outside after he had gone: always a real conversation, always getting right to the core. I am pleased to have known you.
