Florence “Flo” Reda of Melrose Park, age 69, suddenly. Cherished daughter of the late Frank G. and Florence (nee Pintozzi) Reda; loving twin sister of Frank Jr. (former wife Donna) and Mary Lu (Bud) Mulcahy; loving aunt of Domenica Reda and Marisa Garrett; fond niece, great-niece and cousin to many. Flo was a great friend to many, especially all of those people that she served at Our Kitchen Restaurant. She worked there for many years and loved her job and her customers. All to meet Saturday, August 2, 2025 at St. Giles Church, 1045 Columbian, Oak Park for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass (the mass will be livestreamed-please click on Watch Video link below). Interment will be private at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Flo’s name appreciated to Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org). I was so surprised to hear of her passing. I'll always remember when my brother Jimmy passed away and she came up to me and hugged me for a long while. As a young guy not knowing how to deal with everything, she let me cry and said everything will get better. I never forgot that. Rest in peace, Flo.

We were in shock when we heard the sad news.. Flo was one of my bridesmaid in 1987, we will always cherish our memories from old friendship, our laughter and sadness together.. Denis and I are sending our most sincere condolences to Frank, Marylou and the entire family.. May you rest in peace Flo
