I knew Florence for many years and she was always helpful. She also had a sense of humor many people never discovered! Alabama Counseling has lost a Patriarch.

Mrs. Florence worked at ABEC as an executive assistant to Dr. Walter Cox when I first obtained my counseling license in 1992 and she later became the executive director. She was someone you could count on to answer the phone, answer your questions and she was dedicated to protecting the counseling profession. I missed that familiar voice I had come to know when she retired. My sincere condolences to her family.

Florence was always so very helpful to me anytime i called her at ABEC for assistance! In my 25 years as an LPC, i spoke with her many times. She will be missed. i appreciate her years of service. Kathy Echols
