Read MoreI'm so sorry to have read this after the fact. I adored Mr. John and Miss Florence like my own parents, but lost contact with them after they left the cost shortly after Katrina. They filled in for my parents to be grandparents to my daughters. I miss them so much as neighbors and friends. Their advice was always spot on, and they taught me so much about the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
