Lived a quiet, generous lifeLYNN-Florence J. (Rowland) Lilly, 94, of Lynn, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Shore View House in Lynn following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Reginald Lilly. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helena (Hayes) Rowland. Raised and educated in Lynn she was a graduate of Lynn English High School. Florence lived a quiet life with a generous heart, especially towards her family with strong faith and a devotion to the blessed mother and her rosary. She will be missed by her twin children, Regina (Fitzgibbons) Jones and her husband Edward of Goffstown, NH, and Thomas Lilly of Lynn; two grandchildren, Jerry and Cheryl Fitzgibbons; a great-grandson, Jason Fitzgibbons and his wife Courtney, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Miriam Clark, John Rowland, Dorothy Morin, and Eleanor Rowland.Service Information: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 10th at 11 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visitation will be prior to the mass at the Eustis Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead beginning at 8:30 a.m. Donations may be made in Florence's memory to the Shore View House, 1 Atlantic Terrace, Lynn, MA 01902.
