Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful legacy she leaves behind. You, the family and friends, must very proud of her strength and presence of mind.

I, too, am a great believer in the power of peace to overcome discord. And I shed a tear for the enlightened ones who pass from this earth.

God bless.

I did not know Toni, but my mother who lives in the Bay Area read me her obituary today.

She sounds like a person I would have loved to know. My children attended a Montessori school through sixth grade and they are living proof of Maria Montessori's belief in creating "lifelong learners."

I admire Toni's political convictions as well.

My deepest sympathies to the Mylett family and to Toni's many friends, colleagues and former students on the loss...

I read about this on dailykos. It caught my eye because Etienne was a name I'd considered for my daughter. It's nice to attach an honorable, well-loved person, and a life well lived, to the name. My condolences to her friends and family.

Occasionally, when reading the obituaries, I encounter a life that seems so rich and profound that I mourn the fact that I did not know the person. I wish I could have known Toni. May her family find comfort and peace knowing that there are many many others out there that felt the way she did and will work towards a more peaceful relationship with the rest of the world.

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO ALL OF MS. MYLETTS FAMILY.

I AM SURE SHE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN ALL THE LIVES SHE TOUCHED IN HER LIFETIME.

I DID NOT KNOW THIS GREAT LADY BUT I BELIEVE IN HER POLITICAL VIEWS.

I ADMIRE HER FAMLIY FOR SO PUBLICALLY VIEWING THEM IN HER MEMORY.

SHE WILL BE WELL REMEMBERED BY ALL..

SINCERELY,

ROSE
