MARKS, Mrs. Florence France, 81, of Warsaw, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012. She was a member of Rappahannock Church of Christ. Survivors are her husband, H. Willard Marks Jr.; her four sons, Jeffery Marks (Debbie) of Winston Salem, N.C., Ronald Marks of Glen Allen, Steve Marks (Mary) of Warsaw, Glenn Marks (Michelle) of Warsaw; her daughter, Glenna Motley (William) of Warsaw; eight grandchildren, Kristen Adkins, Katelyn Drye, Chris Marks, Joshua Baughan, Caleb Baughan, Nathan Marks, Mallory Marks and Hannah Marks; three great-grandchildren, Kinsey Adkins, Ella Adkins and Makayla Marks; four brothers, Myers France, Glenmore France, Kenneth France and Jack France; four sisters, Ellen Burruss, Ruth Chappell, Jennie Bishop and Cassie Haynie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glennie Elwood France and Mary Alice Delano France; her grandson, John Michael Baughan; and by her sister, June France Packett. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Rappahannock Church of Christ on Thursday, January 19, 2012, with interment in Newland Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Virginia, P.O. Box 2098, Tappahannock, Va. 22560.

I am so glad I got to know this sweet lady and I will never forget her. What a time she is having in her new Home with the Savior she loved so much. I know she is singing in that heavenly choir.
