Not sure what to say?

Florence cared for me as a toddler/child in her San Anselmo home, and she looked just as she looks in this obituary photo. I remember eating ravioli for lunch and always feeling completely safe and loved with her. Now I'm 40 and married to a Swedish native, and I can't help but wonder if Florence's Swedish genes had a bigger impact on me than I've realized. I would LOVE to attend her memorial service. Thanks Florence, for imprinting me with such grace and beauty in my most formative years.

Florence......what an "ANGEL" Many moons ago I decided to do a part-time job at Kaiser in San Rafael and was not sure who I could have take care of my beautiful Jessica.. We attended the "Baptist Church" and Florence was referred to me.

She was the most loving care taker for Jessica. Jessica looked forward to seeing Florence always. Also Charles who always had magic tricks for the children.

Those amazing memories will never ever leave my heart. To have someone love and care for...

Florence was one of those gracious people who will always be remembered for her quiet yet giving ways. I am grateful for how she helped our family with my wedding reception (as many other church friends did as well)- cooking and cleaning and making it a good time for everyone. Those are fond memories. She was consistently willing to listen and support and be there for others. Our sincere condolences to the family.

Florence was a "best friend." I think many others considered her their best friend also. I met Florence about 57 years ago while I was a college student. She and I shared a Scandanavian background and were both born a few miles apart in northern Wisconsin. She was enormously kind, generous and loving. Her faith was important to her. There is an old adage that says it all, "Her likes we shall not see again!"

I didn't get to see Florence much in recent years, but my memories of her from days gone by are sweet. I don't think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. She was so faithful at church because of her love for Jesus. Now she is with Him whom she served. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven -- with a HUGE smile on her face.
