Florence Mccoy was my Great Grandmother she was a strong person , she taught me how to do some cooking and baking as well as sewing. She helped me learn to write and was a great teacher to me with my school work. I will truly miss her and I thank God for the time I had with her.

Florence was my Mom. She was a natural teacher, delighting in our school work, showing us the value of hard work by example. She taught us to be generous, & grateful, and resourceful. I learned gardening, cooking & sewing from her, as well as independence & willingness to try new things. She regretted that she never learned computers, & she tried to stay abreast of new techniques by watching television programs. She cultivated friendships that lasted a lifetime. Florence was my mother and the greatest mother on earth as well as the strongest person I have ever known and I will miss her greatly but will love her always.

Florence was my grandmother. She was one of the strongest people I have ever known. She had strength and wit. Her spark for life will live on in all of us.

Florence was my grandmother and the woman I most admired and respected in my life. She was my biggest insperation and I trully miss her most of all. She was a great woman.
