Florence Perry

To Mr. Perry and the entire Perry family I extend my deepest sympathy. I met Mrs. Perry through the friendship of the late Dr. Florita Jemison Askew. Mrs. Perry always was a source of inspiration whenever we met or spoke by phone. She helped made the hours I spent at the Mervyn H. Sterne library very resourceful. Remembering the friendship she shared with "ReRe" makes me smile just thinking of what a celebration they are having in heaven. I pray that our Lord bless each of you with his peace...

Praying for the Family Look unto Jesus

May God bring comfort to the family. Mrs.Perry was a loving and kindhearted person. I meet Mrs.Perry at Washington Elementary School. I served as the Parent Leader and Volunteer at the School I spent days talking with her in library. We shared many good times with students. May she rest from her labor together reward.

I recall Mrs. Perry at the circulation desk of UAB's Mervyn Stern Library. A very efficient librarian adn media specialist. My God provide the consolation as only he can.
