I took great joy in seeing sister Porter each time I mowed her yard, as she greeted me with a smile and "how ya doin". She made an influence on many, and certainly I am included in that category as I'll never forget her as being one of the first witnesses I ever knew and certainly one of the most devout to Jehovah I've ever seen. I look forward to the near future where I will see her again under the perfect circumstances of God's kingdom along with all the other people that will be blessed...

To the family, please accept my deepest sympathy. Your mom was a sweetheart, a real classy lady. I used to tease her about the beautiful hats, nobody could wear them like she could. Usually one of the 1st ones at the Kingdom Hall. She bought comfort and encouragement by her presence and comments. Her death has left such a void in the Waughtown congregation. Larry, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember "Ma Porter"'s easy smile and most of all her wonderful sunday dinners. she was truly a special lady. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Peace and blessings.
