Not sure what to say?

To My Angel, Aunt Jean:
Know that I will always love you. Your love for our family has been forever constant. You've always been there,no matter what. You have been my supporter in all that I've aspired to do in my life. You have been my mentor, my inspiration, when I was down and out. Always there to lift me up. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for always being more of a mom than an aunt. I am feeling so lost without you. Miss so much our talking on the phone"every night"...

I have been a neighbor of Mrs. Sneed since I was 15 years old. She has always been a role model for me. I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Sneed. The last time I talked with Mrs. Sneed was December, 2007. At that time I had lost my sister and she came to comfort me, as she has done so many times, and told me "don't worry, you're just like me." That statement meant the world to me. Please accept my condolences.

Love and prayers always,

Emberly Braxton Rahming

I hired Florence when Florida A and M hospital closed in the early 70's. She became the head nurse at our detox center at Tharpe Street. She hired some of her friends; mostly black nurses to care for 99% white admissions. Her professionalism, personal warmth, and calmness made the center a success. To her family and friends, I send my thanks and condolences.
Thank you very much, Florence.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

In loving memory of Aunt Jeannie Sneed, longtime family friend. The Dove family will miss her melodious voice, gracious demeanor, devotion to friends & family, and her keen sense of humor. Aunt Jeanie was a strong Christian warrior. It gives comfort that she is reaping her reward at the foot of the Father.

With love,

In loving memory of Aunt Jeanie Sneed, a longtime family friend. The Dove family will miss her melodious voice, gracious demeanor, dedication to friends & family and her abundant sense of humor. Aunt Jeanie was a true Christian Warrior. It is comforting to know she is reaping her reward at the foot of the Father.

With love,

I have fond childhood memories of Aunt Jeanie and Uncle Clinton when they lived briefly with my family in Washington, DC. Although she was a WWII nurse colleague of my mother's and not a relative by marriage or blood, the years proved her to be a loving and nurturing woman of God and a tremendous inspiration in my life. I praise and thank God for creating Aunt Jeanie and allowing her to walk a path that lit the way for so many. She was a good steward and fought the "good fight"; now she is...

To the family of Mother Sneed

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Remember what the Word says: "absent in this body; present with the Lord.

I encourage you to think about the beautiful and special times you had together and let these beautiful memories remain keepsakes to the family.

To the family of Mrs.Sneed
This was a neighbor that will be sorely missed. She was the meaning of what the term neighbor means and stands for in every essence of the word. We know that when someone we love passes away,we ache, but we go on. Our dear departed would want us to heal, after they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend, the anguish and pain in our hearts.
We need time to remember and time to mourn, before the recovery starts.
Let's draw together to recuperate,as...
