Her door and kitchen table were always open to anyone in need. Everyone was family to her. she often quoted: "Be the change you wish to see in others". Be like Flossie!

My heart is heavy hearing that my friend has passed. Sending hugs and prays to the family. I only knew Florence for a short time but I grew to love her dearly. She was an amazing, sweet lady and she will surely be missed.

To all of Florence's beloved family. We are sorry to see that Florence is no longer here with you. We were blessed to be counted as her friends and be adopted by all of you when we sailed through Chestertown so many years ago.
