Florence Taylor

During my two years at what was then Grand Rapids Baptist College, Doc and Mrs. Taylor became "second parents" to me. Generous, gracious, wise, godly...just some of the words that come to mind as I think of them. Sympathy to John and Mark and their families, and a reminder that the best is yet to come. The blessed hope and glorious appearing of our Savior will bring a grand reunion.

My husband and I extend our sympathy to Florence's family on her home going. Doc was our choir director for a number of years at Highland Hills Baptist, and Florence was our oldest daughter's piano teacher. She and Doc were a very sweet couple. "Absent from the body, present with the Lord", the savior that I am sure Florence was longing to see.
