Not sure what to say?

Dear brothers, Brooks, Carl, Bob, and John,

I call you "brothers" as I shared your mom, as did so many of your friends. Even my daughter called her Nana Florence. I see her in my mind's eye smiling at me and Nat from the window or the porch, greeting each person with a sincere "Hi, Honey," no matter what that person's standing may have been at any given moment in our immediate community. You know what I mean. She never judged, but looked at why a person might be who he or she was at...

When our dad Bill died in '74, Flo fixed a guest room for my husband Jack & me, and was a real comfort. I wish we could be there now--but our hearts are with you. I can still see Florrie in the...

nana-i learned so very much from you.

Love,
Corky

So sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I remember her well from my early years growing up on Hannah street. She was very lucky to have all her family living in town to share holidays and special times. I'm sure she will be loved and remembered always.
