Florence Luke Weber

WEBER Florence Luke Weber passed away at her home on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late James Andrew Weber, Sr. Loving mother of James Andrew Weber Jr. and wife Suzi Sikorski Weber, William Wallace Weber and wife JoAnn Pregeant Weber, Stanley Paul Weber and wife Jeanine Barre Weber, David John Weber and wife Rondi Black Weber, Gregory Luke Weber and wife Gina Centanni Weber. Daughter of the late Wallace Joseph Luke, Sr. and Hedwig Courelleau Luke. Sister of Wallace Joseph Luke, Jr., Pearl Luke Mitchell and Nelvin Francis Luke. She is also survived and fondly remembered by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, sister and friend, who treasured her family. The family expresses gratitude to her loving caretakers Desiree, Jennifer and Lorene and special thanks to Serenity Hospice for their compassionate care and especially to her nurses, Kathy and Laine. She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson and a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish Inspection Division. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 12:00 noon. Visitation from 10:00 AM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
