Florian Paul Lukowski Sr.

Florian Paul "Luke" Lukowski Sr., 83, of Lansing, IL passed away on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008. Born on June 14, 1924 in Chicago, IL. Retired from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in 1996. Loving and beloved father of Diane (Paul) Osmolski, Florian P. Lukowski, Jr. (fianceé E.E. Wang), Wayne Lukowski and Scott (Annie) Lukowski; devoted grandfather to Eric and Robin Osmolski; dear and fun-loving brother of Ben and Sr. Annunciata P.C. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Anastasia Lukowski; siblings Anthony Lukowski, Julia Struzik, Marie Kaminski and Helen Liebner; and nephew Paul Ahrens; loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews who fondly remember his attendance at countless weddings, school events, birthdays and other celebrations. An avid golfer and bowler, and a passionate and active member of St. Mary's Parish, Luke was a life-loving and cheerful spirit to all who came in contact with him. He will be missed greatly by his family and many many friends. Visitation, Monday 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday 9 a.m. from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S.
