I was always amazed at how alert and responsive she was even until about three weeks before she passed. I loved her very much and miss her terribly, but I know I will see her again. She's waiting for us now I know. I love you Granny and I'll miss you!

Aunt Flossie was my grandfather's (Buren) sister. My memories of visits with her are sweet and loving. I'm thankful that I grew up in one of the last generations that visited family on Sunday afternoons, and you knew your relatives intimately. Aunt Flossie, tell my Papaw and Nanny Fields that I send my love up to them and the rest of my family who have gone on.
