Dear Lou, Phil and Pat,
I heard from Dad that your mom had passed away. I send you my most sincere condolences and wish you peace at this difficult time. I remember Floss' beautiful smile, her infectious laugh, and the amazing bounty of her kitchen table. I still make several of her recipes, most notably, her oven barbecued chicken, the banana nut bread, and the best-ever lemon meringue pie! I think of her often, and fondly. May you be strengthened by your memories.
