Murphy was my Granddaddy. He may have been my father's stepfather, but he was the only Granddaddy I have ever known and loved! He honestly was the sweetest man that has ever been, his slow southern drawl that was low and sweet still rings in my ears. I will always treasure the doll bed he made for me, and the times he took me out to the mill. We picked vegetables, he taught me to fish, and he even played the ukulele for me. I hope that he knew how much I treasured him.

Deepest sympathy on the pasing of Mr Armor. Me and my late brother (Jerry Berry) both worked for Mr Armor when he owned Auburn Oil Company, later known as Phillips 66 Service station. Mr Armor was a very fine man and it was my pleasure to have worked for him and to have known him. He was also very kind to my family.I knew his son, his first wife and his second wife.
