Not sure what to say?

Barney was one of the men that hired me at Gap Broadcasting. I was brand new to radio and he showed me the ropes in a lot of things. He was my boss, a mentor, but most importantly he was my friend. I am going to miss him a whole lot

I have been out of town and just found out about Barney. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cannon family. Whether I was broadcasting for La. Tech or the Captains, Barney was one person I could rely on and his smile and great personality will be missed.

I NEVER MET MR CANNON IN PERSON, BUT I CAL HIM A FREIND HE WAS A VERY KIND MAN, AND JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO HE GAVE MY TOW SONS THE TRIP OF A LIFFETIME WHEN HE UNSELFISHLY GVE MY SON WHO LIVES HER IN OIL CITY TWO SETS OF TICKETS TO A WEEKEND AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.

MY MORNING DRIVE TO WORK WILNEVER BE THE SAME BUT I KNOW HE IS BROADCASTING ON THAT GREAT RADIO IN THE SKY

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I feel as though we've lost a country legend and I'm so happy that we have that promise from our Heavenly father to bring us through these times! If we could all bring smiles to peoples faces as Barney did would'n the world be a better place!

Hi Barney, I listen to your radio station for years and you made a big hit in my heart. I am just sorry that I never got the chance to have met you but all the times that I had the chance to have talked to you on the telephone it was very nice. I just hope that I will see you when I get to heaven and then I will be able to listen to you once again.May god bless the family and guide them in every way. Your Friend, Jerry

My thoughts and prayers are with Barneys family. I will miss listening to him on KWKH. He had a way of making everyone feel we were personal friends.

A Loyal Listener,

Bonnie
