Rev. Dumas was an extraordinary preacher, thinker, role model and friend. I fondly and easily recall a great many lessons that I learned from him. On this Memorial Day, my mind took flight and recalled how he even talk me the word "patriotic". I was a kid who had just borded the church-chartered bus to attend a roller-skating event (in Harvey, Illinois). To Mrs. Grace Dumas and Family,

I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Rev. Floyd E. Dumas. I was very shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He was a great leader, speaker and teacher of the Word of Christ. May all his good works continue to flourish throughout the hearts of the many lives he's touched.

I attened the Funeral and it was a great time. Celebrating the life of Rev. Floyd E. Dumas.

My greatest time was when we would go witnessing during the sunday school hour. I never felt scared to walk up to the doors and tell somebody about JESUS becase I was with Rev. Dumas!!

He had such a boldness for Christ!!
