DUNN, Floyd James - Of Flint, age 83, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral service will be held 12Noon Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor David Miller officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Visitation 6PM-8PM Wednesday and 2PM-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Floyd was born in Flint on December 10, 1924, the son of the late George and Matilda Dunn. Floyd worked at Fisher Body for 31 years before retiring and was a member of UAW Local 659. He was also an avid card player. Mr. Dunn was also an Army Veteran. Surviving are son, David (Chris) Dunn; daughters, Karen Finch and Katia Dunn; 2 grandchildren, Corey Finch and Emily Dunn; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Laura and Arla; and brother, George.
