Not sure what to say?

A quick note to let you all know that I'm thinking of you and praying that you'll be comforted through this time. Your husband, dad, father-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle has left you all a great heritage. I can't help but reflect upon even my earliest memories throughout which he is, and will always be, ever present. I think of you all regularly and with great fondness ... especially through this difficult time.

Floyd made a big impact in my life. He was there for me early in my marriage to teach me a few important things about how to handle money. He supported my youth ministry at DMFC. He was supportive of Christy and me in many ways when we stepped out to plant Wildwind Church. I will greatly miss his sense of humor, his humility, his immense knowledge, and his confident leadership. The world has suffered a great loss. There was only one Floyd.

My first memory of Floyd was as a little boy at our church Labor Day Retreat at Covenant Cove. He always caught so many frogs for us to use in the race...

As a teenager, he took friends and I to Pistons games and always treated and showed so much interest in us. He'd give us jobs in the summer time and pay us big bucks for back then.

I always loved Floyd. Always felt like when he was talking to me, I had his full attention. I knew that was significant...and know even...

Floyd was a precious little boy, when we first met him. His mom and dad rented an apartment to us and our baby. It was a wonderful thing to watch him grow up, marry and start his own wonderful family.
It is our prayer that you all will be comforted in the knowledge that he is with his Lord and continues to be with you in spirit.

What a guy he was! We will miss Floyd's great sense of humor, the fun times, camping, meaningful conversations, and his great gift of leadership. He loved his Lord and in return he impacted many lives.

So sorry to hear about Floyd's passing. He was a good friend and great example of Christ's love in action.

Julie, Dawn and Melody,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. May God's peace sustain you through this difficult time.

We send our condolences to the family.
We appreciated knowing them and the association we had with them at covenant hills and conference activities. Our prayers are with you.

Was sorry to hear of the passing of Floyd. Give my sympathy to the family, as I remember them from their High School days. May God Bless his family.
