So sorry to see Mr. Gottwald passed away earlier this year. He was a good man and very kind hearted. I helped build his hunting cabin years ago and enjoyed out time together. He was a man that new what he wanted. I also enjoyed the many times we would go to the dove hunts. I remember when he meet his second wife Helga and they were married. I was asking someone about him a few weeks ago and they said he passed. My condolences to the family and prayers. Just wanted to say he was a nice...

"Mr. Gottwald" fished with me off Big Pine Key in the nineties when he often visited on the first Sarah Beth. We spent some fine days hunting tarpon on the fly, and chatting about WWII as both he and my Dad were US Army Burma vets. He was the quintessential Southern Gentleman and a delight to be with and gave me an interesting window into what I perceived a true Classical Virginian to be.
