Sonny was our first keeper when the Rose Island Lighthouse restoration in Newport, RI was completed in 1982. He was a frequent visitor over the years. We remember him for his wonderful sense of humor, dedication to the keeper job, and his deep, mellow singing voice. RIP Sonny. Blessings to Mary and family.
