Floyd Lynch

I just saw this notice of Floyd's passing. I started to cry and then looked at his big smile in his picture, and smiled too. I remember him so clearly, along with Margaret and the girls, when the girls were still young. Margaret and I worked together. Floyd was such a character. Margaret and he were a good match: Floyd made me laugh and Margaret was more serious, but entirely her own person: polished, smart, committed union labor supporter. The girls: so cute. My condolences to Margaret on Floyd's death, and to their children and families. I was fortunate to be able to watch Floyd's funeral Mass at St. Patrick's on livestream. It was so wonderful to hear the stories about Floyd from Fr. Tim Tighe, Ray Terry and others. I so enjoyed Floyd's singing in the St. Patrick's choir many years ago! My prayers are with you all!

Floyd was energetic and fun-loving. There was never a dull moment when he was present.
I remember in high school when Floyd drove his green Plymouth around the neighborhood
with a car load of happy high school classmates. Rest in peace my friend.

I'm so sorry to learn of Floyd's death. He was always such a sweet and funny man! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I am so sorry to learn of the transition of Floyd. Margaret and I had been great friends for a number years but lost touch after they moved to MD. Floyd alway had a cheerful and humorous spirit. He was such a joy to be around. I pray that God provide the family adequate dosages of strength and comfort as you travel through this difficult period. I pray your hearts are forever filled with the beautiful memories you shared with him.
