Just discovered this page and Richard Gatley and I wish to send our best wishes to Darl's family.

I am so sorry to here the passing of Darl. Fellow student of THS class of 1954.

I was sorry to hear of Darl's passing. He was a very nice man and I know he and Sandy spent many good years together. I pray that after fifteen years they are reunited in Heaven. Phyllis Trujillo

my husband and I shared many dinner with
Darl.. china buffet soup plantion and
mexican food... Norma his cousin was alway with us. and sometimes Wayne Eads
joined us...
The class of 54 bought a BRICK that is placed in the front of El Prado Park in Torrance... and Darl is the one that thought what to...

I'm Darl's second cousin - My mother was Georgia Belle Mead-Church. My aunt is Norma Mead-Farrar. Darl was always so sweet and kind to a pesky little cousin. He well represented the Meads by being so loving and caring (a Mead family trait). And, oh so handsome. I'm happy and proud to have known such a good man. Rest in peace, Darl. Keep a place at the table for me.

Sincere condolences to the Mead family. May God soften your grief during this difficult time. Please be assured that your loved one is precious in Gods eyes. ( Psalms 116: 15 )

Will miss you and all the good times we have had since childhood. I will never forget you and my thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. You lived a good life, and I am glad I was part of it. I will miss you everyday, "Cuz".
