Dr. Putney was my OB-GYN for years and you couldn't find a kinder, more caring doctor. He had the best "bedside manner" of any doctor around. He was greatly missed when he retired, but I know that he is with our Lord now doing all the things he loves. May he rest in peace and may God bless the Putney family in this tender time of grieving such a great human being.

My daughter was one of those 7000*/- that dr. Putney delivered 46 years ago yesterday. I first saw him at MUSC before he started practice and followed him when I got pregnant in 1979. He was a wonderful doctor, always making me feel well cared and comfortable. I can honestly say he was the best doctor I ever saw. Prayer for his family and friends.
