Not sure what to say?

"By the River" The last week was difficult knowing that's what we did. Always keeping an eye out and wondering when he'd show. But this time different. I knew he wasn't coming. Will miss Jake dearly.

We were saddened to learn of Jakes' passing

My dad and Jake were in the service together.they were together when i was born 65 years ago and i was told by my parents that i was named after Floyd. I only met him a few times and talked with him but when that occured it was very nice . My dad always told me that i had alot to do to keep Jake namesake a good name. My parents also tlod me about how jakw would help others and be there for friends. Floyd you are in a better place and heaven in a better place to be and i will be there...

It was always a pleasure to see Jake, it must be that twinkle in his eye and that warm, sweet smile. He was a gentleman and a gentle man & the world will be less bright without him. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Susan, and your family as well.

I will always remember Jake as one of dad's nearest and dearest friends. He was truly a blessing in my dad's life as he was in mine. I will miss him. My condolences to Ron and the rest of the family. Wish we could be there.

Jake was one of the very nice people in this world. He will be missed. My sincere condolences--
