Not sure what to say?

He was a gentle giant of a man. I met him in 1968 when he played in Joey Dee´s band. To watch him play with my, and the trumpet player, Bob Gil, infant son was something to see.

My friend Denise and I met him after a concert in Rapid City South Dakota from that day on he became close friends traveled to see him and just actually enjoyed ourselves he showed us around La and stayed in contact with Denise for many many years as a close friend I just found this obituary and I'm so sorry to hear he's gone he was a sweet man.

I saw TDN play a concert in Indianapolis around 1969 or so in the Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. My strongest recollection of that night was Floyd Sneed on the drums. I was totally impressed with him. Absolutely awesome!!.......Mike O'Leary

I remember hanging out with Floyd in Hidden Hills, CA in the mid 70's. We'd go over to his house just to be around a rock star! He actually jammed on the drums just for us!! How cool is that!! Rip Floyd thanks for the memories - J. Jones

I always thought the drummer for Three Dog Night was the tightest and tastiest drum player ever, but I never knew his name until I saw this obituary. For what it´s worth, Mr Sneed always topped my list of rock percussionists, this coming from a drummer of 58 years in the business. Thank you Floyd -Norm

Floyd and my niece Emmy at my 40th birthday. They played together for hours.

Floyd was the kindest man I've ever known. It was an honor to be his friend.

I knew Floyd when I lived in Agoura Hills Ca. He was a wonderful man, and he was always so much fun to share time with. He will truly be missed.

To the family of Floyd Sneed.
We are sorry for the loss of Floyd.
An original for sure, one of the drummers who made us pick up the sticks!

R.I.P. Floyd Sneed!!!

Listening to old Three Dog Night hits on YouTube i came upon the sad news of the great drummer Floyd Sneed's death. They came to my hometown, Odessa, Texas, in 1972 and gave a memorable performance that I'll never forget! Thank you, Floyd, for your amazing contribution to rock & roll with Three Dog Night---and their timeless music!!
