Not sure what to say?

Belated and sincere condolences to all memebers of the Snyder family. I met Floyd in San Marcos, Texas, in 1955. He was at Gary AF Base; at Southwest Texas University I was a student. In 2011, I learned of his death and have written a 6-page poem about him too long to post here. For a Copy: E-mail me at [email protected]

IN MEMORIAM

Dear Floyd,
Rest in Peace, you tall Yankee "flyboy".
May your soul be basking heavenly joy.
I recall you and your friends...

Rudy and I were shocked at the news of Floyd's passing. He was a dear friend to our whole family. The boys often reflect on the special times they had when he came to Green River to go antelope hunting. He was a loyal friend to my father and such a support to our family when my father was ill. His willingness to help and listen when Rudy was diagnosed with prostate cancer was so needed and appreciated. Our deepest sympathy to all of Floyd's family as we know that he will be missed.

To Mari and all the Snyder family, I was sincerely saddened when I read of Floyd's passing. I have provided Floyds lawn maintenance here in PA for a number of years and was looking forward to seeing him again this spring. The last time I saw him in the fall of 2010 we had our usual pleasant conversation like old friends that seldom see each other. This is how I will remember him as a friend and a great guy. Deepest sympathy to all.

Mrs. Snyder You have my sympathy I graduated with Floyd from Elizabethville High School in 1951.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Uncle Floyd will be missed by many but we will have many fond memories of him. He was a good man and a great uncle.

Uncle Floyd will be remembered by many people. His big smile was always welcoming & he was so much fun. He will be missed.

I offer the Snyder family my sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one and pray that the "peace of God that excels all thought" will see your family through this time of sadness.

Deepest Sympathy

Floyd and I worked together for years training and flying with USAF B747 pilots on contract training with United Airlines. He was an exceptional pilot and pilot instructor who won the admiration and friendship of all he trained. I shall always fondly remember his great smile and unshakeable positive attiude towards life. My condolences to his family. He will be missed by all. May God rest his soul.
