Not sure what to say?

To Dot and the Stigler family: I just found this today and wanted to express my sympathy for your loss. For some reason the Stiglers came to mind tonight and I decided to see if I could find anything about them as we had been neighbors in Houston for some years. I was saddened to read this about Floyd. He was a great man and wonderful friend. He took a bit of light out of the world with him.

Our hearts go out to Floyd's family. We will miss him so very much. He (and Dot) have been the most wonderful neighbors and friends to us. What a precious blessing he was to Randy and I and the kids...always telling us a story and and gettting such joy out of a visit with the kids. Our prayers are with you all. Randy, Julie, Bree and Cole Clark

Dear Mrs. Stigler and all the family. Jane and her family and I were at Disney World the entire week so we have now learned about Mr. Stigler's passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. It was my privilege to know him and you and your family at Spring Woods and Piney Woods. We have many wonderful memories. Dear Dottie,
I am so sorry about your losing Stig. I want you to know much I have loved and appreciated you and Stig as my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for these 58 years. You made me feel part of the family many years ago.
Love you always, Katie

Dear Dot and family, My heart is with you at this time. Stig was a dear friend and mentor to me for many years.
He was my first boss in the truck tire business and remained my friend along with you for many years. I regret that we have been separated for so long.
I pray that you are well. Sandy (Hall)

Dear Dot and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Floyd. Over the years whenever I saw you all at Mercer he was always so cheerful and had such uplifting thoughts to share. He was such a gentle man. My thoughts are with you. Suzzanne Chapman - Horticulturist - Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens, Humble TX

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Oh, my heart goes out to all the family as I saw "Mr Stigler's" picture this morning in the Chronicle. I have so many wonderful memories of our neighbors on Misty Lea and fellow Aggie fan! Our thoughts, prayers, and hugs go out to all of the family. Sincerely, Ann (Rial) Smith and family
