Sally,

We were so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. It was so unexpected! We knew how concerned you were for his health at Dad's funeral. No one is ever prepared for such a solemn occassion. Please know our hearts and prayers are with you as you grieve for your sweetheart. Fifty-two years is a long time to be married to the same person; and I know you loved him very much. He was a wonderful man.

I am reading a book called "Life After Life" by Dr. Raymond A. Moody. I found it...

I remember when I was about 5 years old Jim came out to the house and brought his Uncle Alfred a brand new fishing pole and reel that my father fished with for years and caught many fish. Jim although somewhat older than I was always one of my favorite cousins and I will truly miss him . Sally you and your family have our deepest sympathy at this time

Sally,

We are sorry for your loss. Thinking of you.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Jim was always talking about the trains in Colorado & the many trips you had taken to see & enjoy them. He was a good man to bring material to Moab, nearly 11:00 am on every trip, other drivers wandered in late, late in the afternoon. Jim was always early & fun to visit with, he'll be missed.

Sally, you have my deepest sympathies! I absolutely adored this man. I can't believe it's been 20 years since I worked with Jim in the warehouse. He often showed up in the morning with some kind of treat for me (that I didn't need, but didn't turn down ;) ). I'll never forget admiring how he treated you. Several of us used to comment on how cool it would be to have someone treat us with the respect that he showed for you.

Good Bless!

Sally and Kids,
My heart goes out to you and your family. I am so very sorry for your loss. My memories of Jim were that he was a quiet and reserved man, but always with just a hint of a smile for everyone. I guess belonging to such a loud family as most of us Trussell's are, it's easier to just sit back and enjoy the show. I think he did just that.
He was well loved and will always be a wonderful memory as a good friend and "cousin".
Love you guys!

Doris and I wish all of the family well and may the good Lord bless all of you at this sad time and dampen your sorrows and britten your spirit and remember the good times.
Sally, we always liked Jim, and you made a good choice when you married him.

My first early memories were, as a kid, visiting the Veale family who lived by the Fair Grounds.
I liked to visit my Aunt EM and Uncle Jack.
Jim, in his late teens, was downstairs playing with his model trains. The track layout must have taken up half the basement.
I have some treasured photos of him and Jackie when they were each about 3 years old. Another photo is of him and Sally in late 1950s up at Srawberry Reservoir.
I will miss him. I wish Sally well.

From his cousin
