JANESVILLE---Floyd �Bud� Kiron Yeomans, age 89, of Janesville, died on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at home. He was born in Janesville on Nov. 21, 1920, the son of Floyd S. and Jeannett (Bemis) Yeomans. He graduated from Janesville High School in 1938 and Washington & Lee University in 1942. Bud married Angelina Frazer on Nov. 7, 1942, and served in the U.S. Navy as a naval officer during World War II. In Janesville he served in positions of responsibility for profit, not for profit, and political organizations. Bud is survived by his wife, Angelina Yeomans of Janesville; daughter, Frances (Robert) Yeomans Pyle of Kennett Square, PA; son, Robert (Kathleen �Gay�) Frazer Yeomans of Janesville; 3 grandchildren: Emily (Solon) Yeomans Linton, Brook Frazer (Jessica) Yeomans and Hugh Frazer Yeomans; and 3 great grandchildren: Nico and Sita Yeomans and Aida Linton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Geraldine Yeomans Weiss. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. A private family service will be held at a later date. Lasting Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Ducks Unlimited or Camp Manitowish YMCA.

We are so sad to learn of Bud's passing. We will always remember his soft, gentle ways and the great fun playing tennis with him. And, of course, the tennis gatherings. Our sincere condolences to the family.
