Flynn J. Sullivan

Flynn, your mom ran with such courage today. Your spirit is everlasting and carries us forward, mile by mile, day by day.

Flynn was a young elementary student when I retired as his school principal. I remember him entering school each day with a smile, ready for the challenges that day may bring. Flynn was also a neighbor of mine. Long after I retired, he would walk by; then ride his bike by; then drive by. He would always smile, wave, or a shout out a greeting. He would always “remember” and now I must remember him.....for his smile and his wonderful way of making others feel welcomed and accepted.

Although I didn’t have Flynn as a student, he always made it a point to say hello and chat a bit when I ran into him around town. I remember thinking what an exceptionally personable young man he was. He was truly a bright light and the world was a better place with him in it. My deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful boy. May you find courage and strength in the days ahead.

Dear Sullivan Family, I am so heartbroken to hear the news about Flynn. I was fortunate to be his (and Eily's) first grade teacher. He was such a sweet, funny, kind and hardworking boy from a wonderful family. He will be greatly missed. Wishing you peace and love during this sorrowful time.

I got to know Flynn from being on the cross country team together, and he was always such a joy to be around. He was a hard worker, thoughtful, and cared a lot about his teammates and friends.
My heart goes out to the Sullivan family at this time. Rest in peace, Flynn.
