I am Carol's friend and have met Forest. I feel as if I know each member of your family because Carol speaks of you often. Forest seemed totally devoted to Carol and each of his children and grandchildren. You are so very lucky to have had such a wonderful father and friend. I use to work with Mr. Bates and he was a wonderful man. I was also close friends with his children and haven't seen them in many years. I am terribly sorry for the loss. My prayers are with all of you.
