Forest Price Dudley

Forest Price Dudley, 87, of Orange, died on Friday, October 15, 2010, at the Dogwood Village of Orange.

He was born on April 17, 1923, in Albemarle County, a son of the late Ernest Price and Bertie Estelle Dudley.

Mr. Dudley was a member of Zion Baptist Church and was a Lineman for Virginia Dominion Power.

Mr. Dudley is survived by his wife, Virginia Eloise Tanner Dudley, of Orange; a daughter, Sharon Monger, of McGaheysville; two brothers, Walter Hamilton Dudley, of Orange and John Lynwood Dudley and his wife, Bernice, of Orange; a sister, Ruby Phillips, of Staunton; two grandchildren, Mark Dillashaw and his wife, Linda, of Elkton, Chelsea Dillashaw and her companion, Jason Root, of Grottos; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010, at the Zion Baptist Church with interment at Graham Cemetery. Dr. Daryl Harbin will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2010, at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street in Orange.
