Read MoreI had known Forrest since I was in the third grade at Whittier Grade School. Forrest and his brother David lived about 1/2 block from Whittier while we lived about five blocks. I knew Forrest and David beginning in about 1947.

I knew Forrest all My life as we were members of Gold Hill Lutheran Church. He was a character to say the least and a good businessman/pilot. His middle name was Lawson which is my last name. I always liked Forest and am sorry he is now gone. He always had faith in our Lord and has joined his family in heaven, now. Farewell my friend

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Forest. He was a customer of mine and I really liked him and he grew to trust me and I really enjoyed our conversations. He would drive into Butte almost on a daily basis and stop in. He will be missed. He told me many stories of his crop dusting days and flying.
