Not sure what to say?

Cousin, I am saddened to find news of your passing. Though families drift apart, the blood ties remain. I will miss knowing you would always be around.

Uncle Sonny,
You will be truely missed. Your poetry was the greatest. I knew you for a few short years, not long enough to get get to know how great a man you were. Your humor will be unmatched. The Lord has taken home a great man.

My Baby Brother, I miss our funny conversations, and we talked about our past. Our fun times in Missouri on the farm, I never even got to cook for you at my new house, I even bought checkerboard cake pans at a garage sale, that I planned on baking for you as soon as I figured out my new stove. I still have lemon's in my frig. so I could make your favorite lemon pie. I have lost so many important people in my life, but you, Mom and Dad leave a big hole in my heart that can not be healed. ...

Forest,
I went to take our hike today along the familiar trails, the ones you forged long befor we met, you know. I found our usual starting point and headed out confident, but after a wrong turn I was lost and on unfamiliar ground. Sad and terribly lonely, nothing seems the same, I stopped and cried to sooth my soul, the loss is just too deep and ai ache with the pain. Which way to go, left or right, which path do I take? I followed you with confidence you always led the way. Now...

Uncle Sonny,
You are a wise man. You will be sorely missed by many, many people. I am one of them. I love you and think of you daily.

Love, your great-niece, Samantha Nell McMillan Smith

Forest was one of a kind. When working with Forest at AIRCOA, he was a teacher, coach and friend. He always had a great "wit" and could use it to break the stress of the day or a meeting. Rose Marie you found a very special man. Our prays are with you at this time.
