Dr. Baillie was my optometrist since I was 4. He fit me with Coke bottle glasses but talked my mom into allowing me to get contacts as soon as my eyes stabilized for one year. I lived Dr Baillie and Mrs Baillie as they gave me confidence in wearing glasses and contacts. Mrs Baillie always assured me my glasses were stylish. They were also friends if my parents. And I could call them for contacts from college and they would overnight them to me. I’m sorry for the Baillie family to have lost...

Dr. Baillie was a wonderful man and an excellent doctor. I loved him and Shirley so much. He was my eye doctor since I was 11 years old. Truly a great man! He will be missed.

I was thinking about Dr. Baillie the last couple of weeks when I was placing an obituary in the paper for my sister , Twila..He was a dear soul and was my optometrist since I was four years old. He knew my mother well because they grew up together in East Fultonham and as a result the whole family were his patients from the day of birth until we left Zanesville.
