I lost my son 16 years ago in Iraq. I was looking around and happened on this. I was with the Patriot Guard Riders in 2007 there at Richmond. For years and years I had a small sticker with Dane's name on it in my truck from that mission, but I can't find it now. But I will not forget his name nor his sacrifice after all these years.

10 years and still not a day goes by I don't think about you

I still think about you all the time. After all these years I look back on the times we had and still laugh. Your friendship meant the world to me and I will never let that go. I will see you on the other side little brother. Hopefully I'll have some good stories to tell. till then I'm doing my best to keep the old man in shape

I think of you and remember your sacrifice this Memorial Day... My son, Shaun Raymond was your SSG and grieved deeply over that mission and not bringing you back alive. You are now together. I also thank your family for raising a Soldier. My heart remembers their loss today. Proud Army Mom Vikki Raymond
