Not sure what to say?

I loved that man with all my heart and glad I got to know such a great man he may be gone but not forgotten his picture and elephant i will cherish forever and I love the family too

what an awesome man one with great knowledge, love for his family, love for his country thank you for serving in the military and love for the students he taught as a teacher I loved him very much and grateful for the opportunity I had to get to know him and his family he will always be in my heart picture on my desk and the elephant he gave me will be cherished

I was thinking of my father, Ted Demezas, and all of his flying buddies this Veteran Day and I started to search for them online. Dal was one of my dad's favorite friends. I was with my father during his last days and Dal came to visit several times while I was there. He was a wonderful person. I have great memories of times with Dal and Joe - their beach place, the house in Portland, and his cars. RIP my friend!

Dal had such a wonderful family. We send our prayers. bob and Marie Taylor

to the family my prayers and love go out to you all. I am grateful for the opportunity I had working as a housekeeper for your father. The many talks we had a man full of knowledge,
love for his family, and love for his country and the opportunity he had teach others about his knowledge. I will always remember when i walked through the door he would say "not you again" I knew he loved me when he gave me a gray elephant after our talk on politics. I...

Mr. Dalrymple was one of my favorite teachers at Jefferson. I remember his sophomore history class so well. His sense of humor and mine were in sync, and when one term he had to give me a B instead of the As I usually got, he made it heart-shaped. For some reason, I fooled around more in that class than most, and he gave me the only "U" in deportment I ever received - or earned.

Dal, I'll always have super memories about how genuine and patient with us kids growing up. I know those qualities reflect in your dedication to teaching at Grant. The world is a much more knowledgeable place now because of you. You made us all better. RIP

I remember fondly Mr. Dalrymple from my days at Jefferson. I was not on a team that he coached, but I recall the PE classes under him. My condolences to the family.

Forrest, you were such a joy to be around and such a wonderful man to talk to. Thank you immensely for all of the times that you have listened to me and for all of your wonderful humor. You sure knew how to brighten up everyone's day. I will never forget the wonderful times we had and how lucky I am to have gotten the chance to get to know you. I pray you are at peace and happy with your other half. You will be missed so unbelievably much by me and Danyal. You may be gone, but you will never...
