Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the Hansen family, our thoughts and prayers are with Dawn and the entire Davis family. Our grandparents, Inger & Thor Hansen, and our parents, Ken (Knud) and Leah Hansen, worked for Dr. Davis managing Maplewood Farm during the 70’s and 80’s. He was a kind and gentle man who has always been so well thought of in our family. His patience and understanding of all the animals he treated was inspirational. Dr. Davis’ gentle manner touched all who knew him. We thank him for his...

To the Davis family,
I was a young man when I first met
Dr.Forest Davis. My father and I owned a dairy farm in Granby and I
remember some of the miracles Milkey
and Davis did for us. Like performing
an operation to save a prize holstien
that had got a piece of metal in her
stomach. Many times I went with Dr.Davis for the day while he worked
and I learned alot from him. A kind and gentle man that everyone who
met him, liked him right away. I am
glad I had the...

A kind, gentle, caring soul to be missed so very much by so very many. Please accept our deepest sympathies and our prayers that the pain of your loss is soon replaced with peace, serenity and fond memories.

Paul and I were very sorry to here of Dr. D's passing. For over 40 years he was the doctor to our four dogs. He was a very caring and compassionate individual. You could always trust his judgment when important decisions had to be made. We are sure going to miss him. May he rest in peace along with all those four legged ones that have gone before us.

We learned of Forrest’s death with deep sadness and loss. For more than 30 years he lovingly cared for or gave advice about the Evans’ menagerie ranging from horses, dogs, rabbits and cats to gerbils and a beloved chinchilla. His gentle and wise ministrations always conveyed to us and our children his deep respect for all of God’s creatures.
Our hearts and our prayers are with his family as we grieve with them and celebrate his life.

Dear Dawn and The Davis Family,
I was only 8 years old when I first met Dr.D. He has made a lasting impression on me. Milkey & Davis was our Vet for all our animals when I was a child and now as an adult. I remmember how kind he was to me and to my horse when she ripped open her chest on a fence post . He spent many patient hours sewing up that hole little by little and in the end left no scar. It made a very big impression on a very little girl!
Even though my husband and I have...

Dawn and Family,
Not only was Dr. Davis a very knowledgable veterinarian, but he was also the kindest, gentlest man my husband and I have ever met. He understood, and we believe felt, the sadness and the grief we experienced when we had to have two of our pets put down. His compassion touched us both.
He will be greatly missed.

Forrest Davis was a good friend, an outstanding veterinarian, and a Christian deeply committed to international peace and justice through Plowshares Institute's international ministry of peace. We regret that we have been caught in Mexico by cancelled flights due to tropical storm Julio and will be unable to attend the service which we are sure will be a celebration of Forest's life and his contributions to Granby, his profession, and to world peace.

Dear Davis Family, We are so saddened to hear of Dr. D's passing. We will never forget the compassion with which he treated our dogs--and us. We trusted him completely... If he said it was time to go, then... it was time to go.
